Naomi M. Kusachi has been practicing law since 2013 and has been a partner at Apo, Reck & Kusachi since January 2023. Ms. Kusachi moved to Maui in 2016 to work with the Law Offices of Jan K. Apo.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kusachi practiced in Honolulu, Hawaii and worked as a staff attorney at a non-profit legal services organization following her graduation from law school. Ms.Kusachi received her undergraduate degree with honors in English andAmerican Studies in 2010.
Ms. Kusachi earned her J.D. in 2013 from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii. During law school,Ms. Kusachi worked as an Americorps member at the Legal Aid Society ofHawaii where she participated in the creation of the Honolulu District Court Access to Justice Room.
In 2013, Ms. Kusachi served as a summer law clerkto the Honorable R. Mark Browning of the Family Court, State of Hawaii andwent on to work as a law clerk at a private law firm.
Ms. Kusachi is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts of Hawaii and California, State Courts ofHawaii, and State Courts of California.
