Jan K. Apo is a partner at Apo, Reck & Kusachi, LLP. Mr. Apo was born on Maui and attended High School at Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu, Oahu. He then went on to attain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Whittier College in California.
After graduating from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii, Mr. Apo worked as a trial lawyer for a large government office and later became the managing partner for a mid-size private law firm. In 1994, Mr. Apo started his own practice, the Law Offices of Jan K. Apo, prior to joining Apo, Reck & Kusachi, LLP.
In addition to his admittance to the Hawaii State and Federal Court, Jan K. Apo is certified to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. He has also served as a Per Diem District Court Judge of the Second Circuit Court, State of Hawaii. After 19 years of service, he has recently stepped down from the bench and no longer serves as a part time Judge.
